This website is developed and maintained by Nepal Institute of Peace (NIP) in collaboration with Calcutta Research Group (CRG). The objective of the website is to provide information about Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nepal and South Asia.
NIP is a non-governmental organization based in Kathmandu. NIP promotes a culture of peace by organizing and supporting initiatives to reduce inter-group and interpersonal conflict through discussion, training, workshop, seminar and research work. It helps educating people of their right to peace and train peace activists on concepts and principles of peace, justice, human rights and democracy.
The organization conducts research on local and national problems, emphasizing issues and problems generally neglected and ignored. |

Calcutta Research Group (CRG) is a research organization stationed in Calcutta, India. CRG is a facilitating group in support of the peace movement in West Bengal. CRG is a forum for policy discussion and analysis on issues of democracy, human rights, peace, and justice.
Developing as a forum of mostly young public activists and socially committed researchers, CRG is now well known for its research, dialogues, and advocacy work.
